Monday A: Building wooden huts (day 1)
On Monday we start immediately with building wooden huts or arts and crafts. The kids get a choice during registration between one of the two activities. With building huts, your kid will form a group with other kids to work together on building a hut out of wooden pellets and spare wood. Make sure you give your kid a hammer to work with, but NO CLAWHAMMERS! If you do give one, make sure the claw is properly taped off with a thick layer duct tape. It is also advised to give your kids closed shoes during these two days. Having a hammer or piece of wood on an exposed toe is never a happy occasion for those involved.
